Behind the scenes of climate change and what is the real story?
How much is it all connected to world peace – world justice? Some kind of transient force of corporate madness – powerful and yet silently and stealthily changing life as we knew it.
Mostly we wonder about the people that are already making this world overcrowded – then we look at the great inconsistencies in the world – how come there are so many countries giving out so few carbon emissions? How come it is not abundantly clear that there has to be another way which is sustainable, and the countries to take on this technologies are the richer ones. But the money men in power, they only care about profit, and if that means social injustice, then so be it.
But this is all changing.
We are changing it – for every plastic bag not taken when we are offered our packaged sustenance as we consume to our hearts content, for every tap closed when we brush our teeth, for every light switched off when we are not using it. This may seem like a tiny amount, but it will mean the world for our children and indeed ourselves, as this is due to affect our lifetime, not the next generation. We really do have the power to choose our futures.
Take that choice.
